Rhonda Yvette Dula Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
Retired management analyst with 40 years of experience noted for professional excellence
SPRING, TX, September 8, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rhonda Yvette Dula, retired Management Analyst at the Office of International Affairs of the United States Department of Homeland Security, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of her career.
Prior to her retirement, Dr. Rhonda Yvette Dula gained 40 years of professional experience, seven of which were as a management analyst with the United States Department of Homeland Security. Her expertise lies in project management and organizational development and she has been responsible for conducting security assessments, rendering health and fitness services, writing, mentoring, and teaching. For her success earned to date, Dr. Dula credits hard work and the support she receives from her career. She cites the highlights of her career as having establishing the first national association for the advancement of colored people in Orange County with the help of Cesar Chavez and being involved in TRU - Teenage Racial Understanding.
Prior to joining the United States Department of Homeland Security, Dr. Dula worked with the United States Customs Service on a drug enforcement special task force and worked for the United States Military in the Southeast Asia and North Atlantic Treaty Organization. She was featured in UK magazine in an article entitled 'Once Upon a Midnight Clear.' Currently, she is in the process of authoring a student handbook entitled 'Security assessment, lifestyle management and professional development,' a transformation book.
Dr. Dula earned her Ph.D. in Project Management and Operational Development in 2003 and is a certified personal trainer. She is a lifetime member of Blacks in Government, a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans, a member of the National Association for Female Executives, and the founder of the Childrens Angel Network. She is a recipient of the Booker T. Washington National Service Award, the Rosa Parks National Tolerance Award and the National Humanitarian Service Award from the U.S. Air Force.
