With over 34 years of restaurant experience, Laura E. Boyd is the proud owner of La Risa Cafe, a local hit for its Northern New Mexican cuisine, and homemade breads and desserts. Always immersed in her passion for the culinary arts, Ms. Boyd can always be found creating dishes and recipes, cooking and baking—that is, in addition to performing everyday responsibilities such as bookkeeping and managing operations. She and her family have also opened La Risa general store which sells fireworks, groceries, and animal feed.
