Dr. Kirtesh M. Patel owns and manages two eye care centers

GARLAND, TX, September 8, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Dr. Kirtesh M. Patel, Owner, Chief Executive Officer of Mezmereyes Eye Care, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in optometry.

As the owner and chief executive officer of Mezmereyes Eye Care, Dr. Patel specializes in eye care, and treatment of cataract and glaucoma. He started his practice on the East Coast in 2004, before relocating to Texas in 2006. He manages daily operations of the two eye care centers, diagnoses patients and treats them with ocular diseases. While pursuing his education, he began working in an optical store and decided to become an optometrist. He attributes his success to his hard work.

Dr. Patel completed his residency in Ocular Disease at Omni Eye Services. He obtained his Doctor of Optometry from Inter American University of Puerto Rico (2004) and is a certified glaucoma specialist with the State of Texas. He is a member of the Dallas County Optometric Society, the North East Texas Optometric Society, the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He was selected as one of America's Top Optometrists by Consumers' Research Council of America (2009) and attained Awards for Clinical Excellence by Alcon, Inc. (2004), a Review Lecture Distinction Award from the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, Inc. (2004) and a Distinction Award from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry (2004). In the future, he intends to expand his business and hire more physicians.
