Industry Leader Michael J Lasky Added to Exclusive Registry's Roster
Michael J Lasky is a "Venture Catalyst" business incubation and innovative solutions expert in the media & technology sectors.

PORTLAND, OR, August 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael J Lasky, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Gotham Metro Studios, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in the management of business operations including marketing, human resources, technology and media production services.

In addition to heading Gotham Metro Studios, Inc., (est. 2000), Michael J Lasky co-founded Driving Technologies, Inc., a research and development joint venture with SAIC, Rockwell Collins and Kaiser Electro-Optics Inc. He has enjoyed a diversified 27-year-long career as an entrepreneur, business executive and producer and is known as the Venture Catalyst in media/tech sectors. Beginning in the early 1980's, he worked for 11 years as an executive producer for Hall Bartlett Films, which developed film projects for such stars as Marlon Brando, Sophia Loren, Anthony Quinn and Priscilla Presley. He also worked as an executive and partner in The Jonathan Livingston Seagull Management Company. In 1998, Mr. Lasky oversaw incubation of 12 media and tech companies as the EVP of TSDV, LLC, an incubator and venture fund. Mr. Lasky subsequently became CEO of the incubated CinemaZone Studios, which in addition to producing traditional media ventures, pioneered many broadband strategies used by online entertainment portals today. His design work received the Best of Show Award for 'Hawaii Parade of Homes" in 1990, as well as other industry "best of" awards. His recent effort as a producer garnished the honor of the Best of Show- Feature Film Award for 'Living Luminaries' at the Agape World Peace Film Festival (2007).

Mr. Lasky has been licensed by the California Department of Real Estate since 1999. A 1975 graduate of Crescenta Valley High School, he completed a UCLA Adult Extended Education Program in 1980, and coursework in real estate studies, business, architecture and theater at Glendale College between 1975-1979. He was also Certified as a 'Salomon Ski Technician' in 1976. Mr. Lasky's professional past affiliations include: Laguna Beach Pageant of the Masters, No Square Theater, the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce, the American Film Institute, and the American Film Market. He served as President of the Glendale College Chapter of the American Society of Engineers and Architects in 1978, is a former signatory of the Writers Guild of America, and was co-chairman of the Dennis Kucinich Presidential Campaign. He names the World Wildlife Fund, and the International Campaign for Tibet as his favorite causes.
