Dwayne Carter recognized for expertise in contracting and risk management


New York, NY, March 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dwayne Carter, Vice President of Corporate Safety for Tishman Construction, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in Safety and Loss Prevention.

Mr. Carter has over 16 years of professional experience, with the last seven of these years spent with Tishman Construction Corporation. Tishman is a privately-held firm headquartered in New York City with operating subsidiaries located across the United States. Known for his high rise commercial and residential construction skills, he is tasked with leading a staff of over 20 construction safety managers and coordinators across the nation. Dwayne is also responsible for the review of RFP's and contract documents both prior to bid and post execution ensuring that all NYC DOB, OSHA and client requirements are met. Additionally Dwayne is a certified OSHA Instructor. Dwayne's interest in the construction safety profession was inspired by his fascination with architecture. He attributes his success to the support of his parents and mentors throughout his career.

A member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, Mr. Carter holds an Associate of Arts. As a military veteran, Dwayne is a passionate supporter of organizations dedicated to disabled veterans. In five years, he aspires to venture into consulting.
